The basic requirements for starting a Clan War are: Your Clan has to have at least 5 members Wars can only be started by Co-leaders and Leaders Clan Wars come in different variations- 5v5, 10v10, 15v15, 20v20, 25v25, 30v30, 40v40 and 50v50. The Leader or Co-Leader chooses the members who will participate in the war from those who have The top 40 players in your clan (ranked by trophy count) will join the war, the remaining 10 will be spectators. Then the 40 players fighting for your clan will be ranked 1-40 on the war map based on the strength of base defence regardless of trophy count. Despite of your selection, you can take as many players as you want to the CWL. Even though the war size is 15 or 30 members, you can pick more players to the CWL, but later-on you must select only 15 or 30 to go to the war. The roster represents the pool of players who can participate in the Wars of the Season and gain rewards. Each Season Clans can choose from two war sizes: 15vs15 and 30vs30. I've been playing in a max TH9 clan only for a long time and I will always be the top base on the war map, because I play Clash since release. Since my account is so old my profile tag is one character shorter than all the Like the normal Clan Castle, participants can donate a maximum of 6-9 troops per War Base (dependent on Clan level), disregarding housing space (e.g. one could donate 1 Dragon, 2 Wizards and 2 Archers to fill up the space in a War Base with a level 5 Clan Castle), and the capacity of a player's Clan Castle in the War Base is equal to the zP9H.
